There have been a few decent posts recently on taking the MOST, so I thought I'd give some thoughts.
I think I went in with the attitude: listen to the trainer, do what they ask, then concentrate on the MOST. Boy, did I get that completely WRONG.
The MOST is your last 5-7 minutes of the day and you should be able to do it without too much problem - if you've been riding and practising! I...
Well I have tasted the world of INLINE 4 before, but only for a few minutes on remote roads.

Now, after 5 various VTWIN motorbikes purchased (3 LAMS 250, M50, VT750S), I have moved to the dark Side. My son found a MINT CB400 on Fri night, and did the wheeling and dealing for a swap plus some cash. I wasn’t in the market for a...
Hello all. I was tootling along Milperra road (Sydney) this morning in the cool, clear and dry conditions that make City motorcycling tolerable. Early enough to beat the bulk of the peak and traveling against the main flock. Rising sun on my back and ahead of schedule. Good. Approaching a red light, slowing gently, my eye catches the silver hatchback on my left moving closer and across me....
So today I was lucky enough to be helped out by a fellow rider when my bike had a slight brake and then later on I was lucky enough to be able to help out another random fellow rider in need. My rear left indicator stopped working on the way to work after I hit a big pot hole in the dark. It wasn't the bulb or fuse but the wires. A quick look myself and I managed to brake more wires....
I purchased a new toy on the weekend, pick up thursday. I feel like doing something different with my motorcycling, so I've brought a BMW F800GS to do a little adventuring on
Leaving Hay for SA early last (cold) Sunday morning, had to pull over over just outside of town to get extra weather protection gear out of pannier. 50 clicks outta town, sun behind me, look at shadow on road and think, that's weird... pannier shadow on right, no pannier shadow on left Look back. Left hand pannier gone. Instantly realised that while I stood in the cold...
The screen on my bike had started to show age and had a few cracks in it. A new replacement screen is around the $450 mark, quite expensive for a piece of Perspex. I've seen on the internet that you can mould Perspex using a heatgun, so I spent $55 on a sheet big enough to make a screen. I covered my old screen in tin foil, placed the new bit on top and hit it with my heatgun. I couldn't...

So I mentioned in my introduction, but it’s been a while so I’ll start off saying that I’m an American living in Japan and I ride a VTR 250. You ever look at your little 250cc and think to yourself “you know what I should do? I should ride this glorified scooter across an entire country. Well. I did. I’m currently in the middle of a cross country trip from the northernmost...
so like many of us on NR we surf the ups and downs of life. Some are major. Some are minor.
Those who "know" me on NR may recall me having Tourette like explosions of opinions here waaaaay too often. My 40 year relationship imploded. I also was so naive and trusting and opened my home up here got used big time by a pair of NR a-holes. Really set me back quite abit. Good lesson learnt though....
